This 8 step Bluetooth headset set up guide will help you set up your Bluetooth headset with your LG Chocolate BL40.

| Step 1 - Jump in to your Menu | ||

Press the Menu icon found at the bottom right of your screen.

| Step 2 - Find Bluetooth | ||

Within the Settings section scroll your finger across and select Bluetooth.

| Step 3 - Put your Bluetooth headset into 'Pairing mode' | ||
|
Pick up your Bluetooth headset and press and hold onto the power button or sync button for up to 10 seconds or until you hear an alternating bleep or fast flashing lights.
Doing this puts your Bluetooth headset into 'Pairing mode'

| Step 4 - Add a new Bluetooth device to your mobile phone | ||
|
Using your Chocolate BL40 select New device and then select Yes to the pop message regarding switching on your Bluetooth.
Your Bluetooth will now begin to search for compatible devices.

| Step 5 - Select your listed Bluetooth headset | ||
|
After a few seconds you should see your Bluetooth headset appear in the listings. Select this now.

|
| Step 6 - Type in your Passcode (0000) | ||
|
A pop up will appear asking you to enter a PIN, password or Passcode, please type in the default 0000 (4 zeros). If this does not work, please try 1234 or refer to your Bluetooth headsets manual.
Once typed select Ok.

| Step 7 - Opt to connect to your headset automatically? | ||

Your Bluetooth headset will bleep to confirm the synchronization and your Chocolate will state completed.
Now you will have the option of connecting to your bluetooth headset automatically by selecting 'Allow without ask'. If you prefer to authorise the connection please select 'Ask Always'.

| Step 8 - You are all done! | ||

To use your Bluetooth headset now, please select Yes otherwise select No.
|

Congratulations you are now all set up to use your Bluetooth headset with your new Chocolate BL40 mobile phone.
Remember to use your headset whilst in the car for safe and road legal driving. A quick tip you'll know when you are connected to your headset because you'll notice the Bluetooth with a headset icon at the top left of your screen.
