LG Chocolate BL40 How Do I? Guides - Google Suite
Use the LG Chocolate BL40's Google Suite to quickly access your Google Email, Search, Maps, Blogger and YouTube. This guide will show you how to get the best all applications.

| Step 1 - Jump into the Menu | |

Press the Menu icon found in the bottom right of the screen and then select the Google Application found within the Utilities section.

Google Maps - Navigating to a destination
| Step 2 - Select Google Maps | ||

Select Google Maps from the list of available applications.
On opening you will be required to accept the terms and conditions of its use.
Please note: The loading of the terms and conditions may take a while. |
| Step 3 - Press Menu | ||

Press Menu and select Get Directions
|
| Step 4 - Starting Point | ||
 |
 |
Select 'Start Point' and choose from:
|
| Step 5 - Choose your end point | ||
 |
 |
Select 'End Point' and choose from:
Now select Show Directions. You will now see a list of directions

| Step 6 - See your directions | ||
 |

Select 'See map'.
You will now see the map with your route highlighted in Pink/Purple colour.
The Flashing blue dot is your current location.
You can use the magnifying glass to zoom in or out. You can also use the arrows to move forwards or backwards a step.

Google Search - Look for a web page
| Step 2 - Select Google Maps | ||

Select Google Search from the list of available applications.

| Step 3 - Choose your connection | ||
|
If you are connected to WiFi you will recieve a notification asking you to select:

| Step 4 - Type your search terms | ||
|

You will now see the Google search page.
Select the search bar and type your search term.
|
| Step 5 - Done! | ||
|
Select Search to begin the search.

Google Mail / GMail - Access your emails
| Step 2 - Select Google Mail | |

Select Google Mail from the list of available applications
|
| Step 3 - How do you want to surf? | |
|
If you are connected to WiFi you will recieve a notification asking you to select:

| Step 4 - Username & Passwords | |
|
Type your username and password in the available fields.
TIP! You can opt for Google Mail to remember your login details, so you don't have to type them in each time.
Select 'Sign In'

| Step 5 - Quick login next time? | |
|
A pop up will appear asking to Save your Password, select:
|
| Step 6 - Done! | |
|
You will now see your Google Mail Emails. To zoom in double tap the screen.
You can also see your emails in widescreen by turning your handset to landscape from portrait.

YouTube - Watch your favoritie videos
| Step 2 - Select YouTube | ||

Select YouTube from the list of available applications.
|

| Step 3 - How would you like to connect? | ||
|
If you are connected to WiFi you will recieve a notification asking you to select:

| Step 4 - Choose your video | ||
|
You will now see the YouTube mobile web page with the Top Favorited or Spotlight videos.
|
|
| Step 5 - Done! | ||

Tap a video to begin playing the video.
You can watch the video in widescreen by simply turning your phone from portrait to landscape.

Blogger - Create your own mobile Blog
| Step 2 - Select Blogger | |
|
Select Blogger from the list of available applications.
|
| Step 3 - How would you like to blog? | |
|
If you are connected to WiFi you will recieve a notification asking you to select:

| Step 4 - Create your Blog | |
|
Select 'Create a Blog' link - at the time of writing it was in a Orange box.

| Step 5 - Type in all the info! | |
|
Type all the required information in the available fields including your:
Now select 'Continue'
|
| Step 6 - Choose your name and URL | |
|
Tyoe the name of your Blog and your URL.
Select 'Continue'.
|
| Step 7 - Choose your style | |
|
Choose your own 'Template' and select 'Continue'.
|
| Step 8 - Done! | |
|
You can select 'Advanced Setup Options' should you wish to set up your blog to work with your own website otherwise select 'Start Blogging'.
Now post your first Blog!
